REMINDER - any club submissions for changes to the SWHL Conditions of Play for 2024 must be submitted to me no later than Wednesday 31 January 2024 to allow time for collation and review by the SWHL Committee before the February Meeting.

Below are the SWHL meeting dates for 2024. Face to face meeting venues to be confirmed but will be at SOPHC - rooms just need to be confirmed.

• 25 November 2024 - AGM (Face to Face)

UMPIRES CONVENOR POSITION STILL VACANT

We are still looking for an umpires convenor. Please reach out to the senior umpires in your club to see if anyone is interested. I'm happy to have a conversation with anyone interested to confirm the position description of the role. Main tasks include:

• ML1 and ML2 weekly umpire appointments from ML1 and ML2 umpire list provided by clubs
• Organising judiciary meetings with the Secretary, as required (red card issued or two consecutive yellow cards) which don't happen often e.g. there were no judiciary meetings in 2023.
• Working with the SWHL Executive to develop a strategy for umpire development for our competition.
